Optical and laser engineering team expands

Refined continues to grow its photonics engineering team with two new Optical and Laser Engineers.

Nayantara Rose Jose joins from Active Fiber Systems, where she worked on the development and optimisation of fiber laser systems for nonlinear microscopy. She holds a Master’s degree in Photonics from Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Kai Kruse brings extensive experience in pulsed laser development, having worked at Coherent, Cycle GmbH, LIMO, and the European XFEL. His background combines deep expertise in laser physics with practical system engineering for robust scientific instruments.

Both engineers contribute to the development of the precision laser sources that form the core of Refined’s imaging technology.
