Live at Focus on Microscopy conference
Refined participated in Focus on Microscopy 2026 in Stockholm, one of the leading international conferences for nonlinear microscopy and advanced optical imaging.
At the meeting, Dr. Thomas Würthwein showcased the company’s imaging platforms Noctua and Aquila and presented recent results on machine learning enabled SRS imaging and real time intraoperative assessment of glioblastoma. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with researchers working at the interface of nonlinear microscopy, artificial intelligence, and clinical translation.
Refined contributed two scientific posters:
Machine Learning Enabled Phenotypic Drug Profiling Using Label Free Stimulated Raman Scattering Microscopy
Real Time Label Free Intraoperative Assessment of Glioblastoma Using Stimulated Raman Scattering Imaging
Across many discussions at the conference, it was encouraging to see the growing momentum around label free molecular imaging approaches that provide access to tissue information without staining. In particular, there is increasing interest in applications where faster feedback during interventions or an additional molecular data layer can support new biological insights and improve clinical decision making.
