Our Noctua is a fully integrated, automated SRS imaging system for fast, label-free chemical imaging of cells and tissue. It provides an easy and accessible way to bring high-performance SRS technology into your lab – no staining, no complex setup required.
With full Raman spectral access, millisecond tuning, and a plug-and-play design, Noctua is ideal for molecular pathology, biomarker discovery, and live cell studies. Compared to conventional systems, it offers a streamlined, user-friendly alternative without the cost or complexity.
Effortless operation
Noctua removes the complexity of traditional SRS imaging. With synchronized lasers, scanners, detectors, and software in one integrated system, there's no alignment, cooling, or setup required. Just start the software and begin imaging – as easily as with a standard widefield microscope.
Unmatched speed
Noctua delivers fast, label-free imaging across the full Raman fingerprint (700–3100 cm⁻¹), capturing lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids in a single scan. Millisecond-speed tuning enables multicolor imaging and 3D reconstructions with sharp, sub-cellular resolution without waiting or staining.

High-contrast detection
Powered by Refined’s low-noise balanced detection, Noctua suppresses laser noise and boosts signal-to-noise ratios by a factor of three, enabling faster, clearer imaging. The detection system is fully integrated, ensuring stability, reliability, and minimal setup.
Multimodal flexibility
Noctua goes beyond SRS. It supports CARS, SHG, TPEF, and widefield imaging in a single platform, delivering structural, chemical, and functional contrast from the same sample without labels or dyes.
